Dy. Manager - Building, Utilities & Other Infra for Agrregate Shop (Mechanical)

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Purpose of the role:

To support planning, execution, commissioning and maintenance of building, utilities and infrastructure systems for Engine and Trans Axle manufacturing, assembly and Engine Testing facilities during Greenfield project implementation and plant operations, ensuring reliable utility availability, safety, quality and operational excellence.

Roles and responsibilities:

Greenfield phase:

• Coordinate construction of Aggregates Shop buildings and infrastructure; support installation and commissioning of compressed air systems, HVAC, cooling water systems, process water, fuel supply systems for engine testing, exhaust extraction systems, DG interfaces, firefighting systems and utility networks; coordinate with machine and test-bed suppliers; manage contractors, statutory compliance and project schedules.

Operations phase: 

• Ensure uninterrupted utility supply to machining lines, assembly lines and engine test cells; preventive and predictive maintenance; energy management; vendor and AMC management; utility KPI monitoring; infrastructure reliability improvement; support capacity expansion and EHS compliance.

Experience

5+ years in utilities, facilities, infrastructure projects with exposure to Greenfield automotive Engine, Transmission, Powertrain or Aggregates manufacturing facilities. Experience supporting Engine Test Beds/Test Cells preferred.

Industry Preferred

Automobile OEMs, Engine Manufacturing, Transmission/Powertrain Manufacturing, Auto Components, Heavy Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing.
