Dy. Manager - Building, Utilities & Other Infra for Body Shop (Civil)

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Purpose of the role:

Support planning, execution, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of buildings, utilities, and related infrastructure for the Body Shop during Greenfield project implementation and plant operations, ensuring timely project delivery, operational readiness, asset reliability, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Support execution of civil, building, utility, and infrastructure projects for Body Shop facilities in line with approved specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor construction activities, contractor performance, and work quality to ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project, production, utility, EHS, and vendor teams for timely completion of infrastructure and utility works.
• Support installation readiness, equipment foundation works, and commissioning activities for Body Shop operations.
• Monitor operation and maintenance of buildings, roads, drainage systems, utility infrastructure, and other civil assets.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and upkeep of utility-related infrastructure supporting Body Shop production requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify corrective actions to maintain asset health, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Verify contractor measurements, work completion status, and documentation for project execution and maintenance activities.
• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, environmental regulations, and company standards related to infrastructure facilities.
• Maintain engineering drawings, asset records, maintenance history, and project documentation.
• Support cost optimization, energy-saving, and continuous improvement initiatives related to infrastructure and utility systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting infrastructure-related issues to minimize operational disruptions and improve facility performance.

Experience

5+ years in Civil Engineering, industrial building projects, infrastructure development with exposure to Greenfield automotive manufacturing projects is preferred. Experience in Body Shop facilities preferred.
