Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Purpose of the role:
To Support the planning, execution, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of common infrastructure facilities across the manufacturing plant to ensure reliable utility services, operational readiness, asset reliability, safety, regulatory compliance, and sustainable plant operations throughout the facility lifecycle
Roles and responsibilities:
- Support execution and monitoring of common infrastructure projects, including administrative buildings, roads, drainage systems, parking facilities, boundary walls, utility corridors, and external developments.
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, and handover of common utility infrastructure such as water systems, compressed air distribution, fire protection systems, electrical networks, and sewage treatment facilities.
- Monitor operation and maintenance of common infrastructure assets to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify infrastructure deficiencies, safety risks, and maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams, utility providers, contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for timely completion of infrastructure activities.
- Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, statutory requirements, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for common buildings and infrastructure facilities.
- Monitor contractor performance, site progress, work quality, and adherence to approved schedules and budgets.
- Verify measurements, contractor bills, project documentation, drawings, and maintenance records.
- Support utility consumption monitoring, energy conservation initiatives, and infrastructure optimization projects.
- Assist in troubleshooting infrastructure and utility-related issues to minimize operational disruptions.
- Maintain asset records, engineering documents, maintenance history, and compliance documentation.
Experience
5+ years in experience in industrial infrastructure, facility management, utilities, civil projects, or manufacturing plant infrastructure.
Experience in Greenfield automotive, engineering, manufacturing, steel, cement, FMCG, or large industrial projects preferred.
Industry Preferred
Automobile OEMs, Industrial Construction, EPC Companies, Heavy Engineering and Manufacturing Industries
