Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Maintenance of Equipment:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of shop equipment such as conveyors, belts, motors, DC tools, presses, filtration systems, test beds, dispensary units, and cleaning machines.
- Ensure all equipment operates efficiently with minimal downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
- PLC Knowledge:
- Utilize knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) from Mitsubishi and Siemens for troubleshooting and programming.
- Perform diagnostics and ensure smooth operation of automated systems.
- Collaborate with automation experts to optimize PLC-based systems.
- Project Management:
- Work on projects related to installation, modification, and optimization of shop equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement and installation of new machinery or upgrades.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance projects within budget.
- Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians and allocate tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide technical guidance to the team and train them on equipment handling and maintenance procedures.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards.
- Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols.
- Address any hazards or risks associated with equipment promptly.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment downtime.
Prepare reports for management on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and improvement plans.
