Sr. Manager- Transmission Maintenance

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Maintenance of Equipment:
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of shop equipment such as conveyors, belts, motors, DC tools, presses, filtration systems, test beds, dispensary units, and cleaning machines.
• Ensure all equipment operates efficiently with minimal downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
2. PLC Knowledge:
• Utilize knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) from Mitsubishi and Siemens for troubleshooting and programming.
• Perform diagnostics and ensure smooth operation of automated systems.
• Collaborate with automation experts to optimize PLC-based systems.
3. Project Management:
• Work on projects related to installation, modification, and optimization of shop equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement and installation of new machinery or upgrades.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance projects within budget.
4. Team Leadership & Coordination:
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians and allocate tasks effectively.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and train them on equipment handling and maintenance procedures.
5. Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards.
• Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols.
• Address any hazards or risks associated with equipment promptly.
6. Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment downtime.

Prepare reports for management on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and improvement plans.
