Deputy Manager - Maintenance, XUV Body Shop

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of the production line to achieve targeted productivity and uptime.
• Identify and resolve chronic/repetitive equipment and process issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage spare parts planning and inventory to ensure equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• Plan and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities as per schedule.
• Conduct in-depth breakdown (B/D) analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures to improve equipment reliability.
• Ensure adherence to all safety standards, procedures, and statutory requirements on the shop floor.
• Support and drive new project implementation, including installation, commissioning, and stabilization of new equipment and processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Monitor key maintenance KPIs and initiate continuous improvement activities.
