Deputy Manager - Production Paint PU

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Monitor the production schedule according to set targets .
• Ensure achievement of measures of Performance (MOP) targets using PDCA approach.
• Identify ways to control cost and increase the efficiency of Paint shop production
• Monitor and improve BWT (Body Work Team) performance with respect to PQCDSM 
• Anticipate concerns in PT, CED , underbody spray, sealer line, sanding, primer, base coat, top coat , oven, spot repair & wax line and take proactive measures to achieve quick stabilization.
• Drive QCRT forums for concern analysis.
• Ensure safety on the shop floor and take part in safety related internal/external audits.
• Conduct JH & Maintain 3S as per standards.
• Tools & equipment Management
• Maintain OLE (Overall Line Effectiveness ) records , restore minor stoppages & breakdown quickly by taking ICA (Immediate Corrective Action) and PCA (Permanent Corrective Action) to minimize/eliminate recurrence.
• Shop Floor Management
• Manpower deployment & scheduling
• Spare part procurement 

Education Qualification

B. Tech in Paint Technology / Mechanical Engineering

General Experience

3-7 Years

Critical Experience

Experience in Paint Shop from Automotive Vehicle Manufacturing Companies Only
