Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
As the Senior Manager for HHKVA Projects Sales & Service at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will take ownership of leading high KVA projects with a customer-centric approach, working closely with the Direct Sales team. Your role involves a comprehensive understanding of customer, dealer, and OEM requirements, transforming these insights into clear, actionable project plans. You will foster collaboration across various internal departments including Channel teams, ensuring synchronized efforts toward achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional project outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end project lifecycles ensuring alignment with business goals and client expectations.
- Staying abreast of market and industry trends through continuous intelligence gathering to anticipate competitive dynamics and inform strategic decision-making.
- Developing and executing technical strategies to enhance customer engagement, providing expert guidance and support not only to clients but also to team members for effective issue resolution.
- Monitoring project health with a focus on schedule adherence, budget management, and risk mitigation to guarantee smooth project execution.
- Preparing detailed, insightful reports on project progress and technical challenges to present to senior leadership, enabling informed business strategies.
- Applying financial acumen to analyze sales-related financial requirements, optimizing project feasibility and profitability.

Experience
The ideal candidate will possess between 8 to 12 years of solid experience in managing higher KVA diesel generator projects or related power solutions in a competitive market. Experience should detail a historic success in navigating complex project lifecycles and a deep familiarity with sales and service environments in power generation equipment.
Key Experience Highlights:
- Demonstrated history of leading large-scale projects through technical and sales channels, including direct customer and dealer engagement.
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret customer and market needs and translate them into comprehensive project plans and technical strategies that resonate with varied stakeholder groups.
- Exposure to capital equipment procurement processes and extensive knowledge of technical product specifications, installation, and operational requirements.
- Experience in cross-functional team leadership, fostering collaboration between sales, technical, and support teams to exceed business goals.
- Strong market insight including competitive intelligence gathering that aligns with corporate strategy and customer demands.
Industry Preferred
While candidates from diverse backgrounds will be considered, preference will be given to those with experience in industries such as power generation, heavy machinery, energy solutions, and equipment manufacturing. Previous exposure to sectors involving diesel generator technologies, electrical/mechanical engineering services, or industrial project management will provide a strong foundation for success in this role.
Industries like automotive manufacturing and large-scale infrastructure projects where high power capacity solutions are integral will also be advantageous. Candidates familiar with capital equipment sales and project execution within these industries tend to bring a valuable perspective and practical knowledge to the position.
Qualifications
Essential qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree, ideally in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. This academic foundation is critical to understanding the technical aspects of high KVA projects and to navigate the complexities involved in sales and service execution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal certifications or training related to power generation technologies, project management, or sales leadership will be an asset.
- Technical certifications relevant to diesel engines and power systems enhance the candidate's ability to engage with customers and technical teams effectively.

General Requirements
