Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As a Graduate Agri Trainee at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd within the Farm Division, you will take on a pivotal role in developing and executing the state strategy aligned with organizational goals. Your responsibilities extend to conducting comprehensive environmental scans—both internal and external—supported by robust data analysis to inform strategic decision-making.

You will spearhead the translation of strategic priorities into actionable initiatives within strict timelines, focusing across multiple verticals, including product positioning and suitability matching, promotional campaigns and strategies, retail management excellence, and channel/dealer management. A key aspect of your role will also be to facilitate competency development for dealers and company personnel through tailored training programs.

Your role includes devising and deploying detailed plans at the state level that support the broader corporate strategy, while factoring in global business trends to inform and enhance local business operations. The implementation of specific intents for each vertical will be closely monitored, requiring you to scan the competitive landscape for competitor movements and emerging market opportunities continuously.

Achievement of business outcomes such as market share growth, volume targets, spare parts sales, and overall business expansion is paramount. You'll manage monthly review meetings with Area Managers and critical dealers to assess progress against timelines, utilizing defined templates for consistent and effective reporting. This multi-faceted responsibility necessitates a strategic mindset combined with operational rigor to meet and exceed business objectives in a dynamic agricultural market.
