Battery Pack - Maintenance

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Monitor preventive and predictive maintenance as per schedule to achieve customer satisfaction.

Hands-on knowledge of Battery Shop equipment: Robots (KUKA), Slat Conveyors, Testing Machines, Nitrogen Generators, AHUs, Sealant Dispensing, Servo Motors, Pneumatics and Hydraulics.

Knowledge and experience of electrical layouts, component cabinets and wiring plans of the above equipment.

Knowledge and experience of Battery Shop equipment hardware, software, parameter loading and programming.

Knowledge of Siemens PLC, HMI, Vision Systems, VFD programming and Servo Motors.

Hands-on experience in wireless communication systems.

Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve equipment issues independently.

Hands-on experience with Siemens PLC and SCADA.

Monitor and maintain insurance and consumable spare parts stock.

Hands-on experience in Teaching and I/O Module Configuration.

Maintain systematic backups of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and PC-based machines.

Improve MTTR and MTBF through proactive Kaizens.

Reduce spare cost and consumption through a systematic approach and timely availability.

Execute and improve the effectiveness of PM, TBM and CBM activities on equipment.

Maintain equipment safety by monitoring safety interlocks and implementing Poka-Yoke.

Preferred Industries

Education Qualification

Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics/ Electrical / Mechatronics;

General Experience

B.Tech - 3 - 6 years.Diploma - 7 - 10 years

Critical Experience

Automation - preferably siemens

Robo operation and maintenance – preferably KUKA

Servo Drives maintenance.

Sealant dispensers - Maintenance

Air handling units, Nitrogen generator - maintenance

Basic knowledge of Pneumatics and hydraulics

Basic knowledge of battery manufacturing process
