Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- As Deputy Manager in Tractor Assembly, you will be entrusted with ensuring efficient man cost control through enhanced productivity on the assembly line. A key responsibility includes the strategic reduction of costs associated with scrap, consumables, and manpower, necessitating vigilant departmental budget planning and continuous monitoring.
- You will spearhead efforts to maintain and improve the Standard Productivity Rate (SPR) beyond 90%, leveraging detailed defects data analysis to implement effective countermeasures. Your role extends to conducting comprehensive market complaint analysis, facilitating swift resolution, and ongoing monitoring to uphold product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Leading and inspiring the Assembly manufacturing team is crucial, enabling control over Product Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale (PQCDSM) parameters. Coordination across internal departments, external partners, and vendors is essential to drive continuous improvement and ensure timely product delivery according to plan.
- Your leadership will be pivotal in establishing new products and transitioning them into successful mass production, overseeing adherence to scheduled training programs for workers and staff to maintain high competency levels.
- Daily management includes resolving conflicts, fostering a collaborative work environment, conducting performance reviews, and mentoring subordinates to achieve departmental goals. You'll drive gap analysis focusing on production loss, quality deficiencies, and breakdowns, while synchronizing parts supply for various tractor models to streamline assembly operations.

Education Qualification
The ideal candidate will possess a solid educational foundation, with a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree specialising in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Additional certifications or training in manufacturing processes, quality management, or project management would be advantageous, enhancing the capability to lead large teams and manage multifaceted production activities.

General Experience

Experience in cost control initiatives, quality assurance, and defect analysis will be vital, as will familiarity with departmental budgeting and cross-functional collaboration.

Critical Experience
The candidate must exhibit critical experience in managing production lines, especially in assembly operations with a strong emphasis on productivity and cost efficiency.
