Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Elimination of b/d on A,B & C rank Machines through TPM approach.
• Reduction in MTTR by implementing proactive Kaizens.
• Reduction in Spares cost & spares consumption.
• Reduction in repair & maintenance cost.
• Reduction in Oil consumption.
• Spare Part planning.
• Support in commissioning of new equipments.
• Co-ordinate with supplier & CME for eleminating new equipments issues.
• Plan & execute PM,TBM,CBM activities on equipments.
• Lead shift associates & guide them for trouble shooting on equipments.
• Supports production department for smooth ramp up of new product.
• Functional competencies :
• Equipment Hands on Experience- Operating, Maintaining & troubleshooting:
• Hands on experience of Maintaining Equipments like  Horizontal Machining centres (Makino, Mazak, DMG), Washing Machines (Mhitra, CES), Grinding Machines (Micromatic, Felsomat) gear teeth finishing Machines (Prawema,Libherr), heat treatment furnaces, Engine & Transmission Assembly line equipments, Engine Test Beds, Transmission Test Rigs etc. used in Power train shops.
• Maintenance of CNC systems like Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi.
• Troubleshooting & improvements of Material handling equipment like EMS, Conveyors, Lifts, Hoists, transfer system, power roller bed etc. 
• Hands on experience of Mechanical assemblies like ball screw, gearbox, drive systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems.
• Basic Knowledge of PLC & Automation devices.
• Focuses on maintenance and troubleshooting of Kinematics , Mechanical assemblies , Spindles , ball screw by PM , TBM and CBM methodologies . Guides subordinates to carry out  machine geometry test and alignments . Guides and monitors oil and lubricant qualities used on machine .  Knowledge of  implementation with statutory checks & requirements as per the factory rules. Generate maintenance SOS for all the equipments & their SOPs. 
• Creates safety & awareness about gear and engine manufacturing machines like Heat treatment processes , Gear manufacturing processes , engine assembly and testing processes  , troubleshooting & safety of gear hobbing , grinding , honing , laser welding machines , sealed quench furnaces , HMCs , assembly equipment , washing machines turn tables along with operations & troubleshooting. Ensures periodic checks of all above equipment.
• Understands mechanical assembly drawings gear transmission assemblies , spindle assemblies , bell drives , chain drives . Able to repair gear transmission, belt, chain, sprocket , couplings along with its troubleshooting.
• Understands hydraulic and pneumatic circuit diagrams . Operations & troubleshooting of Hydraulics & Pneumatics. Prepares troubleshooting guide to reduce MTTR. 
• Collates and updates monthly data related to MTTR, MTBF, PM, TBM , CBM ,IR , Lubrication Mgt., Kaizens / Pokayoke / MP Sheets , Energy and water mgt. Spares Mgt .
